Product Stewardship is the practice of making health, safety and environmental protection an integral part of the life cycle of products. It is underpinned by an acceptance of shared responsibility between those involved in the life cycle of products (including manufacturers, retailers and consumers) to ensure that these are managed in a way to reduce their impact on the environment and human health.
